OG 6 up with the Sowers! J & Co up Friday for a nice quiet night watching family movies and prepping cabin for visitors. Saturday Bri & Stef arrive early, Aaron and Julie with Grant, June & Olive arrive shortly after with an escort from Imogene. Aaron brought a smoked brisket that we had for dinner after a fun filled day of exploring and ATV riding. Met the neighbors up the hill who bought the Christmas Tree lot. They have a couple small kids and have built a zip line! Rebecca & Blaine, Ember & Archer. Rebecca's Sis in law Lindsay also up with her lil girl Daisy. Daisy potty training and was having some trouble with the camp toilet, after some different approaches she peed in the shower! Hilarious success. Their whole group came down for a visit in the evening and after the "full" tour, we introduced them to the bell. Made s'mores on the patio, Rebecca is giving J some competition - triple and quad bubbles are real with the huge marshmallows. To be continued I'm sure. One of the kids locked themself in the bathroom, Uncle Brian to the rescue. maybe we need to adjust the lock... I think this was the most we had all at once, for sure the most kids. Super fun to have neighbors, not too close but not too far. We watched some Sunday football on the patio, both the Lions and the Chiefs lost in horrible fashion but the view behind the TV helps the disappointment. A family of deer is hanging out in leech field, so cute to see them. Maybe we need another salt stick? Bri & Stef stay late into the eve and depart at sunset. The leaves are about to change and the sun is in the far southern part of sky... still amazing to watch the sunset in all its different positions all summer long.
