Season 8 kick off!!!
Jeff and Nancy's foundation is poured, plans are coming together!
Blane & Rebecca have a Big Ex and a lil Ex, lots of land moving. The tree nets are lots of fun, we're gonna find some trees to build one here. Had an impromptu afternoon BBQ with grilled cheese and hot dogs on the grill. High hopes of visiting Joe and doing a HH with Jeff and Nancy but we tuckered out. J&I, Bri and Maddie had a Big Bear, Big, Big BEAR sighting on a 4 wheeler trip to mine on Sat eve! Don't forget the bear spray on the hikes this summer.
It's Memorial Day weekend but we're heading home Sunday afternoon, K is in the big Miss AZ USA pageant Monday, so we gotta get home to support! We came up Thursday eve, J&co. up early on Friday. Great kick off to the season, cabin is looking tight. Big project this summer: New Decking on Patio! And making plans for the outdoor bathroom. Oh and Rebecca gave us a still, we're also going to make some RoseCampAZ Gin with Juniper Berries from right here on Mt. Union! Jay's highlights:
Added Sonos and retired B's bookshelf stereo! Lots of cleaning. Saw a bear. Brought up the mini Jeep. Brought home Imogene for repairs, lost a tire and got hit by an idiot! Added more hearts to the tree. Book 2: "Torn"
UPDATE: K WON MISS AZ USA 2024!!!! Amazing.
We can see Jay grinning from behind as he tears into the mountain. Rebecca & Blane are tucking the shipping containers into the hill to make a garage. I think we're gonna do it too, we're learning all the do's and some of the don'ts (thanks guys!!).
