June 10 - 12, 2022

Brian, Stef, Charlie & Jay up for a work weekend. New fireplace and new bed frame for Brian & Stef's room. The bugs are freaking relentless in the sun, but the shade is nice. Mimosa's are blooming! This might be the last weekend for 'em this season. It rained on our way in, big down pour through Mayer and some sprinkles into Prescott Valley. The overcast clouds are nice. Stef & B stopped at the Prescott water station, filled up the 275gal and the two 55gal drums. Top tank is full, maybe one more load and we'll be good for the summer (unless we get that hot tub...). Jay got up first and had the place looking sharp for our arrival, that is the. best! We fell right into some cocktails, reminisced about our recent travels to Rose Camp NY and Detroit. We had some laughs about Wubbs, he keeps showing up in some pretty spectacular ways. The peach cheeked love bird, the golden ticket, the broken windshield... the shock has worn off but the sadness still finds its way in. The great memories we have will eventually prevail and the sadness will fade. Damn that little f'er. We love you.

Our Friday night trip home from the moon tower got a little bumpy on the way home, speed may have been a factor and the boys are now searching for new windshield. Jay got air in Imogene, Stef bruised her ring finger. Moon tower rides now require better supervision.
