Season 7 Kick off! Meant to be a working weekend to get the water going and open up for the summer. Stef drives up Friday evening because Brian's right butt cheek is ailing. PB. The snow is still around but it's melting slowly. It's getting to that inconvenient point- just wet, muddy and no longer pretty! Things are in pretty good shape overall, the boys did a good job cleaning up the winter cobwebs and windows last weekend. Stef extended an impromptu invite to K and Matt so they head up from Prescott and arrive about noon Saturday, they were kind enough to pick up a few supplies for us at the local hardware store as well as a few bottles of wine because Stef did not pack well! Welcome toasts and tours, then the boys head to finish the water and just when they thought they had it done, Matt asked if they'd noticed the other busted pipes... they had not. The water will not be fixed today. But we made the best of it. Glamping at it's finest. Lots of laughs, 4wheeler rides, a game of Scattegories, no bell ringers. An evening trip to the moon tower delivered an epic shooting star that crossed nearly the entire sky, it was a cold night up there but worth the chill. Sunday morning is Stefie and B's anniversary, 12 years ago we were all in Jamaica. <3 Quick pack up and head down the hill at 9:30, Inga, K and Stef have to catch the champagne train!! Notable: Stef drives home.
